Ms. Amanda has trained and competed in all areas of dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, acro, hip-hop, pom and gymnastics.  Ms. Amanda attended Rutgers University where she was a captain of the nationally ranked dance team.  She was on Season 2 of MTVs America's Best Dance Crew with her crew Sass x 7.  She continued her professional career as a Flight Crew Cheerleader for the New York Jets and spent two seasons with the NBA’s Nets Dancers and Dunking Divas.  Ms. Amanda’s dance career has brought her to perform in many places around the world including China, England and Spain!  Ms. Amanda has been teaching for 18 years and brings various styles to her choreography.  Her unique background has given her the opportunity to choreograph for college dance teams, high school musicals, cotillions and quinceañeras.   She has trained with celebrity choreographers such as Tabitha and Napolean, Frank Hatchett, Darrin Henson, Luam, Sheryl Murakami, Rosero McCoy, Rod Harrelson, Richard Jackson and many more. Ms. Amanda has also modeled for the dance catalogue Body Wrappers and has made many dance appearances on television including Celebrity Apprentice, The Daily Show, Rachel Ray and Good Day NY.  She obtained her Master’s in School Counseling where she extensively researched the benefits of dance as a therapeutic outlet for children.  Ms. Amanda believes that hard work can make your dreams become a reality and is excited to share her passion of dance with her students.
